European Tourist Insurance has added a new product to its line-up — insurance coverage for foreign citizens arriving in Ukraine for various purposes: business, volunteer work, humanitarian aid, tourism, etc. European Tourist Insurance is launching a new insurance product adapted to the conditions of martial law in Ukraine.
From now on, foreign citizens entering Ukraine can take out a policy with extended coverage for risks associated with military operations. In response to the demands of the times and the need for security, the company offers a solution that allows people from abroad to discover Ukraine with additional protection. The new product covers risks associated with military events, including: death, injury and bodily harm resulting from the direct or indirect impact of missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, their debris, air defence and anti-missile defence systems, and flying ammunition, provided that there is documentary evidence from the competent authorities.
The coverage does not include incidents that occurred in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions and the frontline zone, insurance contracts, or the use of weapons of mass destruction.
‘We believe that everyone has the right to discover the world. And our mission is to make these discoveries as safe as possible, even in difficult conditions,’ says Myroslav Boichyn, Chairman of the Board. The new product is already available for purchase online and through partner travel agencies.
