This year, Miroslav Boichin—Chairman of the Board of PJSC “European Travel Insurance”—was named the winner in the “Insurance Market Leader of the Year” category as part of the 30th anniversary nationwide “Person of the Year 2025” program.

The Chairman of the Board of PJSC “European Travel Insurance” has led the company for two decades, during which time it has become one of the key players in Ukraine’s travel insurance market and a reliable partner for millions of travelers.
Myroslav Boichyn’s professional career is characterized by a combination of diverse experience and in-depth knowledge. He holds three college degrees—ranging from a degree in foreign language translation to specializations in finance and management. He began his career in government agencies, and since 1996 has made his mark in the international insurance industry.
Since 2005, Miroslav Boichin has worked for leading international insurance groups: Generali (Italy), Munich Re (Germany), and EIG (Bulgaria). In 2006, he became CEO of European Travel Insurance, which under his leadership became the undisputed leader in its field. Since 2021, he has also served as chairman of the Supervisory Board of the insurance company “Euroins Ukraine.” Both companies are part of the international financial group “Euroins Ukraine.”
Strategic thinking, managerial experience, and the ability to anticipate market trends have enabled the company to maintain its leading position in terms of the number of clients and the volume of insurance payouts for many years. Under his leadership, “European Travel Insurance” has become not just a successful company, but a symbol of reliability for Ukrainian travelers.
“European Travel Insurance” is the only specialized company in Ukraine’s travel insurance market that has been setting industry standards and introducing European-level insurance products for over twenty years. The company is also the only Ukrainian insurance company that is a member of the international ITIA group, which brings together 17 specialized insurance companies from around the world.
“European Travel Insurance” has demonstrated its ability to adapt effectively to the challenges of the times. The company’s clients come from virtually all social groups. In 2025 alone, despite the war in the country, the number of insured clients exceeded one million.
At the same time, the company’s activities extend far beyond insurance services. ETI actively supports social and charitable initiatives and allocates a portion of its funds to assist the Ukrainian military.
