PJSC "European Travel Insurance" announces a tender for the election of the subject of audit activity (hereinafter - audit firm) to provide services for the mandatory audit of the financial statements of the company for a period of 3 (three) years.
The purpose of the tender is to select on a competitive basis an audit firm to perform the statutory audit of the financial statements of PJSC "European Travel Insurance" in accordance with international auditing standards.
The competition may be attended by audit firms that meet the requirements established by the Law of Ukraine "On Audit of Financial Statements and Audit Activity", in particular regarding the subjects of audit activity when providing services for the mandatory audit of financial statements of enterprises, as well as the terms of the competition.
Conditions and procedure of the tender
The audit firm must meet the following requirements:
- information about the audit firm has been entered in the Register of auditors and subjects of auditing activity, which have the right to carry out compulsory audit of financial statements of enterprises of public interest;
- sufficient level of qualification and experience of auditors and personnel: at least five auditors should work at the main place of work with a total number of at least 10 full-time qualified employees involved in the performance of tasks, at least two of whom should confirm their qualification or have valid certificates (diplomas) of professional organisations confirming a high level of knowledge of international financial reporting standards;
- for the previous annual reporting period, the amount of remuneration from each of the entities of public interest, which were provided with services on the mandatory audit of financial statements during this period, did not exceed 15% of the total amount of income from the provision of audit services, and there are no restrictions related to the duration of services provided to this entity.
A statutory financial statements audit engagement includes:
- confirmation of annual financial statements for the purpose of submission to the SSMSC (issuer's statements);
- confirmation of annual financial statements for the purpose of submission to the NBU (Auditor's Report on Confirmation of Annual Financial Statements).
To participate in the competition, applicants shall submit the following documents:
- Basic information about the subject of audit activity (registration information, types of activity, officials and other);
- availability of licences, certificates, certificates stipulated by the legislation of Ukraine and their validity period;
- price proposal regarding the amount of payment under the contract and calculation of the cost of services;
- Letter of assurance that there are no restrictions on the provision of audit services by the subject of audit activity, which has the right to conduct a mandatory audit of financial statements of enterprises of public interest, as defined in Article 27 of the Law of Ukraine "On Audit of Financial Statements and Audit Activity".
- Ownership structure and letter - assurance on absence in the ownership structure (including HEC) of legal entities on individuals, the place of registration and/or location of which is the Russian Federation or the Republic of Belarus
- Any other information that may be useful.
The start date of the tender is 04 December 2023.
The deadline for submission of documents is 30 November 2023 inclusive.

The results of the tender will be communicated to all participants who took part by email by 15 December 2023 at the latest.
