GTC:Insurance of financial risks (refusal or interruption of travel)
IDSSP Insurance of financial risks (cancellation or interruption of the trip)
expenses (losses) of the Policyholder (Insured),
which he/she has incurred due to the impossibility to realise the trip or due to its interruption.
Events that have occurred to the Policyholder (Insured person) during the period and territory of validity of the contract shall be recognised as insured risks.
(Insured person) during the period and in the territory of validity of the insurance contract
insurance contract in connection with which he/she is forced to refuse (cancel)
from the trip or interrupt it and due to which he/she has incurred losses and/or expenses, namely:
-death of the Policyholder (Insured), his/her family member or companion;
- Injury or sudden illness, including COVID-19, which require outpatient treatment of the Policyholder (Insured), or a member of his/her family or companion;
- Injury or sudden illness, including on COVID-19, which require in-patient treatment of the Policyholder (Insured), or a member of his/her family or companion;
- destruction of the real property of the Policyholder (Insured) as a result of fire, natural disasters, unlawful actions of third parties or military actions, provided that the destruction of the Policyholder's (Insured person's) immovable property as a result of fire, natural disasters, unlawful actions of third parties or military actions, provided that the property is not closer than 50 kilometres to the battle line;
- kidnapping, destruction or damage to the vehicle, on which the booked journey was to be made, provided that the abduction, destruction or damage to the vehicle is not direct or indirect. of the vehicle is not a direct or indirect consequence of any military action;
- the necessity of participation of the Policyholder (Insured person) in a legal proceeding, if he/she was not aware of it before the date of booking the trip;
- failure to receive (refusal to issue) an entry visa by the Policyholder (Insured) or by whom the Policyholder (Insured person) (Insured person) or any of his/her family members, or a companion who is travelling together with the Policyholder (Insured). with the Policyholder (Insured);
- delay in issuing a visa by the Policyholder (Insured person) or any of his/her family members or a companion who is travelling together with the Policyholder (Insured person) travelling together with the Policyholder (Insured);
- issuance of a visa to the Policyholder (Insured person, or a member of his/her family, or a companion for other travelling together with the Policyholder (Insured person);
or a member of his/her family or a companion for a different period of time than that applied for, as a result of which the previously booked trip has become impossible;
- the Policyholder (Insured person) or a member of his/her family or companion has been kidnapped from the Policyholder (Insured person) or a member of his/her family or companion travel documents (tickets) from the Policyholder (Insured), or a member of his/her family, or a companion, passport, driving licence or other documents, the absence of which does not allow travelling, the absence of which is reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs within 24 hours;
- malfunctions, failure of machine equipment and other unforeseen technical malfunctions with the means of water transport (liner, motor ship), the journey (cruise) on which was booked and paid for. and paid for, which resulted in the cancellation of the trip;
- late arrival on the flight from Ukraine to fulfil the booked trip due to an accident;
travel due to an accident, road traffic accident or breakdown of the booked trip. accident or breakdown of a public transport vehicle (except taxi) on which the Insured was travelling to the place of departure of the flight;
- Receipt of a notification about the Policyholder's (Insured person's) conscription to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for military/alternative service upon mobilisation or for participation in the military/alternative service service on mobilisation or for participation in military training during the period of the planned trip. planned trip, which the Policyholder (Insured) was not aware of before the conclusion of the insurance contract and was not known to the Policyholder (Insured person) before the conclusion of the insurance contract and provided, that such person had the right to travel abroad when booking the trip;
- refusal of entry into the country of destination to the Policyholder (Insured) or his/her family member by the representatives of the authorities of the country of destination or a member of his/her family by the authorities of the country of destination, if such refusal is motivated by the suspicion of illegal labour migration by the authorities of the country of destination. of illegal labour migration of such persons, or the suspicion of COVID-19 disease, if this diagnosis is laboratory confirmed. diagnosis will be laboratory confirmed by a PCR test in Ukraine, which, in turn, should be carried out no later than 3 (three) days after returning to the place of permanent stay (residence);
- malfunctions, machine equipment failure and other unforeseen technical malfunctions with the means of water transport (liner, motor ship), the trip (cruise) on which was booked and paid for, which resulted in the interruption of the trip.
-death of the Policyholder (Insured), his/her family member or companion;
- Injury or sudden illness, including COVID-19, which require outpatient treatment of the Policyholder (Insured), or a member of his/her family or companion;
- Injury or sudden illness, including on COVID-19, which require in-patient treatment of the Policyholder (Insured), or a member of his/her family or companion;

The insurance contract with regard to insurance of financial risks may be concluded for a period of less than 7 calendar days prior to the date of the trip.

Insurance contracts with risks related to obtaining a visa for travelling, is concluded only with residents of Ukraine and is valid on condition of timely submission of a full package of necessary documents to the consular office for visa application and absence of any previous refusals of the Insured persons to obtain a visa for travelling. Insured persons have no previous refusals to issue visas.
Insurance contracts are not concluded in respect of the following persons:
- natural persons over 90 years old;
- citizens of the Russian Federation, Belarus, Syria, Iran, North Korea and Myanmar, except for those who have a permanent residence permit in Ukraine;
- legally recognised as legally incapable;
- insurance coverage is not valid in the territory of the permanent residence of the Policyholder (Insured person);
- Russian Federation; Belarus; Syria; Iran; North Korea and Myanmar; Syria; Iran.
Insurance contracts with risks related to obtaining a visa for travelling, is concluded only with residents of Ukraine and is valid on condition of timely submission of a full package of necessary documents to the consular office for visa application and absence of any previous refusals of the Insured persons to obtain a visa for travelling. Insured persons have no previous refusals to issue visas.
Insurance contracts are not concluded in respect of the following persons:
- natural persons over 90 years old;

The minimum and maximum sum insured for this insurance product may be
From UAH 3,000 to UAH 150,000
The insurance tariff is 5% of the sum insured.
The minimum and maximum insurance premium amounts are UAH 150 before and UAH 7,500 after the policy period.
An unconditional deductible of 0% to 20% shall be applied,
the amount of which is determined in the individual part of the insurance contract.
The territory of validity of the insurance cover is specified in the individual part of the insurance contract as a separate country or one geographical area
in the individual part of the insurance contract as a separate country or one of the geographical zones:
- ‘Europe’ (EUROPE): all countries of geographical Europe, as well as: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Egypt also: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Egypt;

At the same time, the agreement is not valid on:

- the locality where the Policyholder (the Insured) permanently or predominantly residence of the Policyholder (Insured person), as well as the locality where the Policyholder (Insured) is registered the Policyholder (Insured), unless otherwise specified in the insurance terms;
- countries that are under UN supervision or sanction;
- countries that are carrying out armed aggression against Ukraine (including the Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus, etc.);
- on the territory of Iran, North Korea, Myanmar, Syria.
The term of validity of the insurance contract for insurance of financial risks in terms of impossibility to carry out reservations. The term of validity of the insurance contract for insurance of financial risks in the part of impossibility to fulfil the booked trip (refusal, cancellation) is the period from the date of conclusion of the insurance contract to the date of commencement of the trip. the insurance contract until the date of commencement of the trip.
The term of validity of the contract for insurance of financial risks in terms of travel interruption is the period from the date of conclusion of the insurance contract to the date of commencement of the trip. the period of validity of the contract for insurance of financial risks in terms of trip interruption is the period from the date of the beginning of the trip to the date of its end, provided that the duration of the trip is not more than 30 calendar days, the duration of the trip is not more than 30 calendar days. If the duration of the trip is more than 30 calendar days, financial risk insurance is valid for the first thirty days of the trip.
The minimum number of insured days can be 3 days Maximum - 180 days.

The cancellation (cancellation, refusal) and/or interruption of a trip shall not be considered an insured event if:
- such trip was contraindicated to the Policyholder (Insured person) due to health condition;
- the reason for cancellation (cancellation, refusal) or interruption of the trip is phobias, any illnesses, including chronic, psychiatric and infectious diseases, organ transplantation, immunodeficiency state, AIDS, neoplasms which have been acquired by the Policyholder (Insured) or a family member or companion before the date of conclusion of the insurance contract, even if they were detected for the first time or manifested periodically;
- the reason for cancellation (cancellation, refusal) or interruption of the trip are events and insured events other than those specified in the terms and conditions of the contract;
- the reason for cancellation (cancellation, refusal) or interruption of the trip is the following stay in self-isolation, quarantine, observance, etc. without the establishment of an appropriate diagnosis (including COVID-19), which medically requires the measures specified;
- events that are the grounds for cancellation (cancellation, refusal) of the trip, occurred before or on the day of conclusion of the insurance contract with regard to insurance of financial risks;
- the events that are the basis for cancellation (cancellation, refusal) of the the trip occurred after the introduction of restrictive measures in Ukraine (e.g. quarantine, emergency measures, etc.). (e.g. quarantine, state of emergency, prohibition of travelling abroad due to martial law, closure of the territory of Ukraine) due to martial law, border closure, flight cancellation, etc.), which already made it impossible to realise the trip;
- stay of the Policyholder (Insured person) in self-isolation, quarantine, observance, quarantine, etc. in the country of travel;
- therapeutic holiday, sanatorium-resort and health-improving treatment;
- the documents for obtaining a visa were not submitted to the consular office or visa application centre in time consular office or visa centre;
- the documents were lost through the fault of the Policyholder (Insured person);
- the flight from Ukraine for the booked trip was delayed due to an accidental loss of the documents.
the delay on the flight from Ukraine for the booked trip occurred due to an accident, road traffic accident or breakdown of the vehicle accident or breakdown of own or other private vehicle (not public), due to an accident, road traffic accident or breakdown of its own or other private vehicle (not a public vehicle), on which the Policyholder (Insured person) travelled to the place of departure;
- untimely notification of the travel agent (tour operator), carrier or other service provider of the refusal (cancellation, cancellation) of the trip, in connection with which the incurred losses were not minimised;
- other events and cases specified in the insurance contract.
The following are also independent grounds for refusal to make an insurance payment:
- wilful acts or omissions of the Policyholder (Insured person), aimed at the occurrence of an insured event, except for actions, committed in a state of extreme necessity or necessary self-defence (without exceeding it) self-defence (without exceeding its limits) or in cases determined by the law or international customs;
- committing a deliberate criminal offence by the Policyholder (Insured), which resulted in the occurrence of the insured event;
- presentation by the Policyholder, the Insured or the person, in favour of whom the insurance payment should be made, knowingly false information about the object of insurance, location of the Policyholder (Insured person) or the person in favour of whom the insurance payment is to be made of the Policyholder (Insured) as of the date of conclusion of the insurance contract, or about the fact and causes of occurrence of the insured event. The proof of the Policyholder's (Insured person's) location as of the date of conclusion of the insurance contract shall be the relevant crossing marks on the date of the insurance contract. on the date of conclusion of the contract shall be the relevant border crossing marks in the passport for travelling abroad;
- hindering the Insurer in determining the circumstances, nature and amount of losses;
- untimely notification of the Insurer about the occurrence of the insured event without valid reasons and/or failure of the Policyholder (Insured person) to fulfil his/her obligations to the Insurer. (Insured person) failure to fulfil his/her obligations defined by the contract
untimely notification of the Insurer of the occurrence of the insured event without valid reasons and/or failure of the Policyholder (Insured person) to fulfil his/her obligations specified in the contract or legislation, if it has resulted in the Insurer's inability to establish the fact, causes and circumstances of occurrence of the insured event or the amount of the caused damage (loss) the insured event or the amount of the caused damage (losses);
- untimely submission to the Insurer of a written application for insurance payment and other documents for insurance payment and other documents specified in the insurance contract; - failure to fulfil the Insurer's instructions in the process of settlement of the insured event;
- illnesses that are a consequence of mental reaction to military events, internal disturbances military events, internal disturbances, terrorist act, plane crash, natural phenomena or fears related to such events;

- other cases stipulated by the current legislation of Ukraine;
The Insurer does not make insurance payments related to compensation of moral damage.
- such trip was contraindicated to the Policyholder (Insured person) due to health condition;

- insurance contract; - duly certified copy of the Policyholder's (Insured person's) foreign passport with a mark of the Policyholder's (Insured person's) passport. (Insured person) passport with stamps on crossing the border of the country of stay (all pages with stamps);
- duly certified copy of the Policyholder's (Insured person's) national passport (Insured person) national passport (all pages with stamps), for minors additionally - birth certificate;
- duly certified copy of the certificate of assignment of the identification number to the Policyholder (Insured) identification number of the Policyholder (Insured person);
- duly certified copy of the document confirming the place of registration of the Policyholder (Insured person);

- in case of death of the Policyholder (Insured person) - duly duly certified copies of the national passport of the Beneficiary and the certificate a copy of the death certificate;
- original or notarised copy of the certificate of right to inheritance;
- in case of cancellation or interruption of the booked trip due to insured events with family members or companions of the Policyholder (Insured) (Insured person), copies of documents confirming the family ties of the Policyholder (Insured person) shall be provided, confirming family ties of the Policyholder (Insured person) and the person, as a result of the event with whom the trip is cancelled.
