The first month of the new year has been over. Despite the still unabated virus and the closed borders of many states, Ukrainian tourists do not refuse to travel, and find new opportunities and discover new places. 1) Host country was Mexico: The tourist was hospitalized on the last day of the insurance policy with signs of gastrointestinal bleeding. The preliminary bill issued by the clinic amounted to more than $ 40,000. The sum insured under the policy is 30 thousand euros.
2) Host country was United Arab Emirates: traumatic injury to the intervertebral discs with acute compression of the spinal cord during swimming in the pool. The cost of hospitalization and emergency surgery was € 29,000.
3) Host country was Pakistan: a tourist was hospitalized with complaints of headache, right-sided hemiparesis, speech impairment. An expensive inpatient treatment was prescribed, which cost 10,000 euros.
