In connection with the epidemic situation in the world caused by the rapid spread of coronavirus across countries and continents, we ask travelers to closely monitor the official statements of the authorized bodies of the countries where the trip is planned.
According to the Insurance Conditions, when local authorities of any country declare special conditions for the whole country and for its individual regions due to the epidemic situation caused by the coronavirus, clause 10.16.9 of the “Insurance Conditions” comes into force, according to which the insurance company does not covers medical expenses for the provision of care for acute respiratory infections caused by coronavirus for those who have traveled to countries or individual regions after statements by authorized bodies about an unfavorable epidemic situation.
We also remind that cancellation or interruption of a trip due to the epidemiological situation in the country of travel is not included in the list of insured events for financial risk insurance (the list of insured events is defined in Section 5 of the Insurance Terms)
