On 19 October, the company “European Travel Insurance” celebrates its fourteenth birthday!
The company was founded in 2006. At that time the shareholders of ETI were Europäische Reiseversicherung AG (ERV Austria and Germany). In 2019, ETI officially became part of one of the largest independent insurance groups Euroins, operating in the Central and South-East European insurance markets.
"European Travel Insurance" is the only insurance company in Ukraine, which is a full member of the ETI Group (European Travel Insurance Group with more than a century of existence) since 2006, which in October 2018 was reorganized into ITIA (International Travel Insurance Alliance). It is the largest group of international companies in Europe offering travel insurance products and other travel-related services and solutions. ITIA is headquartered in Munich; now companies from 18 countries are represented in the Alliance.
Over the fourteen years of its work, the company has reached significant heights in the insurance business and has become the undisputed leader in travel insurance in Ukraine. Nine awards in a row in the annual National Insurance TOP Award in the category "The largest amount of insurance payments for travel insurance"; "Leader of Travel Insurance" according to the results of the XIV All-Ukrainian competition "Insurance Company of the Year - 2019"; etc. Today, almost two million tourists a year entrust their travel to the company.
In its fourteenth birthday, the team of the company, having proved its leadership in the insurance market, also conquered the highest peak of the Ukrainian Carpathians and the highest point of Ukraine - Hoverla Mountain, whose height is 2061 m above sea level. Confirming that the ETI team is able to conquer any heights.
